Richie is a 4–5-year-old labrador retriever mix. Clearly, he's mixed with something small because he's the perfect little package at 25 pounds. He's been searching for a home for a little over a year now and we can only imagine it's because he's special needs. As he watches all of his friends head up to New England, he's ready for his turn.
Hi there! I’m Eldred, but my nick name here is Little Bear. I am a very sweet, energetic boy, filled with so much love to share! I came from an overcrowded shelter in North Carolina, and boy am I happy to have met my Yankee family! I have enjoyed my time with my friends here both 2-legged and 4, but I would love to find a family of my own. I have shown everyone here how smart I am, and I would love to show and continue my training with my forever family.
Introducing Pippi, the most perfect pippipotamus! This pretty pittie lady came to us from our friends at Boston Animal Care and Control after being found as a stray. Big shout out to amazing fosters Robin and Steve for springing this beautiful house hippo from the shelter and showing her the good life! Pippi is a medium energy lady who loves zoomies and fetch in the backyard just as much as she loves couch snuggles with her people.
I'm Cheesenip, an affectionate, loving boy kitty. I love to snuggle. I can be a little bit of a scaredy cat, but I'll want to cuddle with you anyways, especially in bed. I also love to play. I'd be fine with older respectful children, but I need to be your only pet.
Seneca has been a caring and patient mom to 4. Now it's her turn to soak up some love and play with string toys. She loves chin scratches and treats and will rub against your legs to say thanks at mealtime. Seneca starts out a little shy, but will relax and purr loudly once you've earned her trust. She'd love a home with kids over 10. Not sure how she'd feel about a dog or cat friend. She wouldn't mind being the queen, without other pets in the house either.
Hello, I'm Loretta. I'm a sweet, playful gal who loves to explore my surroundings. I might seem shy at first, but give me a little time and I'll show you my curious side. I'm mellow and prefer a quiet environment where I can relax and observe. I'm loyal and cuddly too, always ready for a good snuggle. I'd love to be your only pet, so I can have all your attention. I'm not the best match for children, but I'm perfect for someone who wants a companion and will be patient with my adjustment. Adopt me, and I promise to fill your life with purrs and love.
She's an adult, but don't let that fool you into thinking she's lost her puppy-like charm. She's friendly, goofy, playful, and sweet, a perfect blend of traits that make her an ideal companion. Tictac's past may have been tough, but she's ready to embrace a future filled with love and laughter. She was rescued from an overcapacity shelter, a testament to her resilience.
Biscuit has been living in a foster home, learning all about home life. He initially had a lot to say about things like coffee makers, and vacuums but is getting braver each day.
Fern can be a bit shy at first, but it only takes a few minutes for her to warm up and show you how amazing she truly is. Fern would do best in a home with teens or older and may be open to a dog sibling. She is looking for a dog-experienced household who is willing to do more training with her (she already knows sit and paw) and socializing to show her that the world isn't a scary place. She's come so far already.
